Brussels Sustainable Economy
The objective of the BSE project is to define, develop and implement a strategic development plan for economic industries in the environment area in the Brussels Region. The plan aims to create economic activity and employment in the Brussels region by revitalising environmental industries. This project is focusing on 6 sectors: eco-construction, renewable energy, green chemistry and white and green biotechnology, waste, water and sustainable food.

Brussels Greenfields
Brussels Greenfields is an ERDF fund co-financed with the Brussels-Capital Region. Brussels Greenfields aims to clean up the polluted land around the canal once economic projects are established in the area, with the hope that these projects will enable the area to be revitalised by creating economic activity and employment. In exchange, project sponsors will receive subsidies and support from the Brussels Enterprise Agency to clean up polluted land and then use the sites for economic activities.
